Business students organize charity golf tournament for riding center

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Students from the Rawls College of Business at Texas Tech are organizing a charity golf tournament to benefit the Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center.

They're hoping to raise awareness and help the center recover a portion of the $80,000 in grants they lost this year due to budget cuts.

The tournament will happen Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Rawls Golf Course. The Cost is $90 per person and $360 per team.

All proceeds go to the Texas Tech Therapeutic Riding Center to help provide therapeutic sessions for clients and cover monthly expenses for the horses.

You can learn more about the tournament, and more about the Therapeutic Riding Center on their web site at: http://www.depts.ttu.edu/afs/ttrc/
