Kenosha NewsLawyer's for Eric Wise want him to undergo a psychiatric evaluation to see if he's mentally competent to stand trial. Last month, a Lubbock Grand Jury indicted him on multiple counts of aggravated sexual assault.
Police say the 38-year-old met a 13-year-old Lubbock girl in an Internet chat room. He later came to Lubbock and videotaped their sexual acts. Wise faces similar charges in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
If the judge approves the evaluation, wise's trial will be delayed by a few months. It's currently set to start February 2nd.
