Tornado watch issued for Rolling Plains

A tornado watch has been issued through 9 p.m. tonight for Childress, Cottle, Dickens, Hall, Kent, King, Motley, Stonewall.

Some mid-level rotation has already been reported near Swearingen as it moves into Norman's area and an unconfirmed sighting of 1" hail with the storm was reported near Childress.

The primary area of concern is just east of the Caprock, extending NE into SW Oklahoma.
