A new report links asthma to the popular pain reliever, acetaminophen. An Ohio doctor reviewed data from over half a million children, and found those, who took acetaminophen several times a month, had tripled the risk for asthma. The link was strongest in younger children. It's not yet clear if acetaminophen leads to asthma, or people with asthma are more likely to take acetaminophen. Some researchers believe the drug increases inflammation in the airways in people predisposed to breathing issues.
