Leach biographer to hold book signing Thursday

On Thursday at 6 p.m., investigative author Michael Lee Lanning will hold a book signing for Double T Double Cross at Barnes & Noble Booksellers in Lubbock.

The book's publishers say Double T Double Cross ties all of the facts and complicated facets of the Mike Leach firing into one publication.

Lanning spent almost a year pouring over an array of court documents and depositions, conducting interviews and painstakingly researching the behind the scenes actions of the Texas Tech Board of Regents, Kent Hance, ESPN, Craig James and Mike Leach.

The book's advertising campaign asserts that, based on a survey of Texas Tech students and alumni conducted September 2 – 3, 2011, 78% of Texas Tech fans believe Mike Leach should not have been fired.
