Two Lubbock Convenience Stores Robbed in One Night

Lubbock police are searching for suspects in a pair of convenience store robberies Wednesday morning. Police say the suspect, possibly a black male, entered the 7-11 at 50th and University just before 6 a.m. and demanded money.

The suspect was wearing a a gray skullcap pulled down over his face, a blue jean jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes. But he did not display a weapon during the robbery. The suspect was last seen headed east in a late 80's, early 90's gold Lincoln town car.

Police are also searching for the man who robbed the Town and Country at 34th and Avenue Q just before 1 a.m. The suspect is described as a black male, five feet eleven inches tall and weighing 210 pounds. He wore a gray mask, with a brown warm up jacket, gray hood and blue jeans. He may also be bald with a mustache.
