In honor of Veterans Day, many schools in Lubbock will be honoring those who have served our country.
Bowie Elementary will hold a Veterans Day program at 8am this morning in the school cafeteria. Waters will hold an all day program, from 1pm to 4 pm. Roscoe Wilson's Veterans Day program begins at 8:30 this morning in the gymnasium. Dunbar academy will hold a program at 9 am. The Juvenile Justice Alternative Education Program will pay tribute to veterans at 2 pm.
