LUBBOCK,TX (KCBD) -
Several Veterans will be honored during Saturday's game between Texas Tech and Oklahoma State. One of those to be honored is Estacado High school graduate Matthew Rodriguez.
Matthew was injured during his first year of service in Afghanistan. He returned home to his family Thursday night at the Lubbock International Airport.
"It's great. The Wounded Warrior Program gave me a call and said we have this program going on this weekend and told me to come out to the game. I'm happy to support Texas Tech so long as they support me, I'm good.", says Matthew.
If you would like to attend the game it begins at 11:00am.
