Lubbock police made two arrests following the overnight robbery of two convenience stores. Police say a Hispanic male with a red toboggan pulled over his face entered the 7-11 at 2902 4th Street around 12 o'clock this morning and demanded money. He did not show a weapon. He was last seen running north on Detroit Avenue. He is described as a hispanic male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, 130lbs. He was wearing a gray sweater and blue jeans.
About an hour and a half later, around 1:32 a.m. Police received another call about a hold up at the town and country on Indiana and Clovis Highway. Two Hispanic males were seen fleeing the scene in a car. They turned down an alley, hit a gas meter and wrecked the car into a chain link fence before taking off on foot. Police arrested Elias and Isaias Rodriguez a short time later. Police do not believe the two robberies are related.
