Woman stabbed during overnight fight

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock police are investigating a stabbing that happened early Saturday morning. Police say a woman was stabbed several times, during an altercation in the 1700 block of East 4th street just after 3:00AM.

The woman was transported to University Medical Center, where she was listed in serious condition. Her injuries were considered non-life-threatening, and she is expected to recover. No arrests have been made, and police are not releasing the name of the victim.
