Thursday morning's slick streets proved to be a problem for some drivers across the South Plains.

According to police, a 16-year-old girl behind the wheel of an SUV had little experience driving under such wet conditions. Officers say just before 7 o'clock Thursday morning, she lost control and skidded into a fence at 30th and University. The vehicle then rolled onto its side.

Fortunately, the driver suffered only minor injuries.
