Lubbock Teachers To Take Spotlight On Oprah

Four local teachers will be in the national spotlight next week.

Back in October, NewsChannel 11 introduced you to Penny, Kim, Linda, and Karen. These four teachers at Parkway Primary Academy were featured in Oprah's "O" Magazine last fall for fighting fat in the classroom and at the gym. The teachers wrote a fitness contract to keep track of their goals, which was an idea they got from Oprah's show.

Next Monday, they'll share their story on Oprah. You can see the show on NewsChannel 11 at 3 p.m.
