Numbers of Flu Cases In Decline

A month ago, Lubbock was in the middle of a flu epidemic. Now the worst may be over.

The flu season is normally at its peak right now, but numbers of flu cases here in Lubbock appear to be on the decline.

The Lubbock Health Department says demand for the flu shot is considerably lower now, and fewer patients are seeking help at local emergency rooms.
