Community asked to donate gifts in 'Be a Santa to Senior' program

The :"Be a Santa to a Senior" program kicks off Thursday.

Home Instead Senior Care is teaming up with local non-profit agencies and area retailers to sponsor this year's program.

The community is asked to donate gifts for seniors who might otherwise be overlooked this holiday season.

Members of the community are asked to help by purchasing and donating a gift at Kmart at 6501 University Ave., The Wyndham Apartments at 4501 71st St., City Bank at 5815 82nd St. and 5219 City Bank Parkway and Cottage Village at 110 Frankford starting Nov. 17 through  Dec. 12.
