It's already been pulled from stores shelves, but if you have some of this peanut butter in your pantry, you'll need to throw it away. It's a 16 ounce jar of peanut butter made by Smuckers. It's the natural chunky kind that has been recalled because of possible salmonella contamination. The peanut butter is sold in several states, including Texas. Salmonella is bacteria resulting in fever, cramps, and diarrhea that lasts for several days and can require hospitalization. Smuckers says no illnesses have been reported.
