LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Accident investigators are looking into a collision that sent one police officer to the hospital Friday night.

The collision involved a mini-van and a police squad car at 50th & Slide, but the details of the accident and the extent of injuries suffered are not clear at this time.

The officer driving the squad car was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
