Some of Lubbock's homeless and lees fortunate were treated to a free Thanksgiving meal by the Bridge of Lubbock Monday.
It was all part of the Bridge's Thanksgiving holiday outreach.
Volunteers from Health and Safety Solutions, Westminster Presbyterian Church and other organizations showed up to help.
During the lunch, the Bridge gave away groceries and t-shirts to those in attendance.
Executive Director Mayda Muniz said this would not have been possible without all of the volunteers and donations.
"We're just thankful that the community gets behind us in order to make this happen," Muniz said. "We couldn't do it without the community at large."
