The attorneys for Lubbock's nationally-known terror suspect say they need more time to find expert witnesses.
They say qualified experts are reluctant to participate in the case because it is so high-profile.
Wednesday, a judge agreed.
The judge said attorneys for Khalid Aldawsari now have until Feb. 8 to find expert witnesses, extending a deadline that was set to expire this month.
So far this extension has not affected the trial date, which has been pushed back to May 14, 2012.
Aldawsari is accused of gathering materials to build a bomb in his Central Lubbock apartment.
Court records say he had proposed targets nationwide.
