LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

A Frenship school board trustee has resigned.

The Frenship Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of board member Dr. Jerry McCabe earlier this week.

There is a rule that school board members have to live in the school district for their entire term.

Dr. McCabe turned in his resignation after he bought a home outside the Frenship district.
