Roping Event to Benefit Joiner Brothers

An update on Trevor and Ross Joiner. You may remember these Cooper Elementary school brothers who were rushed off to Duke Medical Center for stem cell transplants last year. It was the only treatment that could at least extend their lives after being diagnosed with a rare and fatal disorder just before Christmas.

Well, the boys are still in North Carolina recovering from their transplants and here's a way you can help at home. A benefit roping event is set for Saturday, January 24th at the Caprock Equestrian Center. There will also be a live auction and even a palomino pony up for raffle.

For more information on the roping or the Cowboy Church that follows, you can call Tracy Autry at (806) 722-0720. The Caprock Equestrian Center is located a mile west of Upland on 50th Street.
