Elderly Robber Convicted In Third Robbery

A 92-year-old man will likely spend the rest of his life behind bars after robbing a bank in Abilene. Friday a federal judge sentenced J.L. Hunter to more than 12 years in prison.

Rountree pleaded guilty last year to robbing First American Bank in Abilene last August. It was his third such robbery in less than five years. Rountree will serve his time at the Federal Medical Center in Fort Worth.
