Haven Animal Care Shelter launches donation drive

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

The Haven Animal Care Shelter is helping spread some holiday cheer to our furry friends.

They are hosting their Christmas for the Animals Donation Drive until December 31st every Tuesday through Friday from 2 -5 p.m.

The animal shelter is inviting everyone to walk through the haven and visit the animals and also help with some donations.

Haven Wish List:

  • Canned or dry dog and cat food                                                                               
  • Paper towels
  • Cat litter                                                                                                                              
  • Laundry detergent
  • Mops and brooms                                                                                                          
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Bleach and all purpose cleaner                                                                  
  • Garbage bags
  • Collars and leashes                                                                                                         
  • Dog and cat beds
  • Gift cards for building supplies are always a welcomed gift. (Sutherlands, Home Depot, Lowes, etc)

The Haven Animal Shelter will also be at Petsmart on Slide Road on December 10th and 11th from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. to offer photos with Santa.  Santa Photos is an event sponsored by Petsmart in which pet parents and their pets can receive a holiday photo with Santa! For $9.95. The proceeds are donated directly to the Haven.
