LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

Lubbock Police Officers traded in their badges for Santa hats Saturday, for the Santa Cop Program.

This year, Santa Cops sponsored 30 local children, ranging in age from 6 to 14 years old. Officers and the kids took a convoy through Lubbock and stopped at several different locations, where the children received gifts. Each child received a total of 350 dollars in presents, including bicycles.
