Flight makes emergency landing in Lubbock Sunday

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

An American Airlines flight from Dallas to Los Angeles made an emergency landing in Lubbock Sunday morning.  The Lubbock Fire Department says it was a Boeing 757 that had lost power in the right engine. 

The plane landed safely at 9:58 A.M. and there were no reports of injuries.  The passengers were able to fly on to their destination according to American Eagle.  The Federal Aviation Administration did not yet returned a message to KCBD Newschannel 11 Sunday evening.
