County Commissioner Gilbert Flores has decided to run for re-election.

Flores made the announcement Thursday afternoon in the county courthouse.

Flores represents Precinct Three - which is in Northeast Lubbock County - stretching from that corner of Lubbock to the Idalou area.

Flores already faces two challengers in the Democratic primary.
