Two Amarillo brothers are in jail and charged with beating and robbing a Buffalo Springs Lake couple almost three weeks ago.

33 year-old George Franklin and 50 year-old Aaron Pugh are in the Potter County Jail charged with burglary with intent to commit robbery, intent to commit sexual assault, intent to commit aggravated assault, and two counts of aggravated robbery.

The incident took place early January 13th at a house in Buffalo Springs Lake. Franklin and Pugh broke into the house and used duct tape to tie up 47 year-old Mike Hogan and his girlfriend.

The men then used a crowbar to repeatedly beat Hogan while his five year-old daughter watched. They also assaulted Hogan's girlfriend. The five year-old was not injured.

The men stole about $100,000 in cash before fleeing. Franklin and Pugh are expected to be brought back to Lubbock early this week. They are both being held in Amarillo on $1 million bond each.
