Driver dies after overnight crash in Lubbock County

LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

DPS Troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Lubbock County.  A 1997 Chevy pickup was found 7:15 Saturday morning at the intersection of F.M. 2378 and County Road 7100. The location is west of Wolfforth.

The driver was found alive, but according to DPS Senior Corporal John Gonzalez, he died at 8:32 Saturday morning at University Medical Center.  He was identified as Joshua Keith Bain, 38, of Lubbock.

Gonzales says Bain was driving west on 7100 and did not stop at T-intersection with F.M. 2378.  Gonzalez says alcohol was discovered at the scene and the DPS investigation continues.
