Two dead in Sunday morning crash, Dickens County

DICKENS COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

DPS Troopers are investigating a deadly crash Sunday morning in Dickens County.   DPS says a Dodge Dakota pickup was going south on Farm to Market Road 264 -- approaching the intersection of Highway 82, at 8:05 AM.  That puts the crash scene roughly halfway between Crosbyton and Dickens.

DPS says the driver of the pickup, 70 year old Deanna Louis Stocker of Afton, did not stop at the stop sign and drove into the path of a semi truck.  She and her passenger, 15 year old George Harward, of Krum, died at the scene.

The driver of the semi, James Courtland Andrews, and his passenger, Nancy Joe Shrader, were not injured.
