LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -
A horse named Seaford is lending a hoof to help the Salvation Army of Lubbock reach their 2011 campaign goal.
Seaford will be at Market Street United's Hitching Post from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday.
The Red Kettle campaign has raised $153,455.71 thus far and is $96,544.29 short of their 2011 campaign goal. This year, The Salvation Army's Christmas assistance programs will offer aid to over 6,700 individuals in need.
Seaford is appearing courtesy of Salvation Army board member Carl Tepper of Lubbock.
