The community of Snyder awoke Saturday morning to the rumbling of an earthquake. According to the US Geological Survey, a 3.2 earthquake hit seven miles northeast of town around 8:45 a.m.
No damage was reported and no one was injured. However, officials with the Snyder Police Department say they had several phone calls from residents who were shaken up by the tremors.
This year, the town of Snyder has been hit by more than a dozen earthquakes. Experts say it's because the town lies directly on a fault line.
