Lubbock Student Hospitalized After Beating - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

An Estacado student remains in critical condition at this hour after being beat up at party. Police say the incident began in the 2700 block of East 2nd Street around 2:00 Sunday morning. Witnesses say the victim, 16-year-old Mark Gonzales spit on the carpet. That's when a party-goer allegedly hit Gonzales and stomped on his head.

20-year-old Marciano Ramos is now charged with aggravated assault in the beating.
