The Lady Raiders improved to 10-0 with a 75-38 win over Western Kentucky Wednesday night. Texas Tech was led by junior guard Casey Morris who had a team-high 11 points.
Monique Smalls, a junior guard, added nine points, five rebounds and five steals.
The offense was clicking all night, as Tech never went three straight possessions without scoring.
The 10th straight win to start the season is the best start for the Lady Raiders under head coach Kristy Curry.
Tech will now go on an eight day break for the holidays before facing off against Cal State-Bakersfield in San Diego, Ca., on Dec. 29 - part of a two-game 'Surf n Slam' trip to San Diego to play back-to-back days against CS-Bakersfield and the University of San Diego.
After the west coast swing, the Lady Raiders start conference play Jan. 4 with their Big 12 opener at home versus Oklahoma State.
