U.S. House On Science Discusses Wind Engineering In Lubbock

Congressman Randy Neugebauer was in Lubbock Monday along with the U.S. House Committee on Science.

The group met at the Merket Alumni Center, on the campus of Texas Tech, to discuss the technological advancements of wind engineering research. After hearing several testimonies, the committee discussed how the federal government could help further wind research.

Following that meeting, Congressman Randy Neugebauer commented on his own campaign. He is seeking re-election to the U.S. House of Representatives in District 19. "Campaign '04 is going extremely well. We are being very well received in the new part of our district. We've been spending some time there, we'll be spending more time there. I am very excited about the progress we've made so far," said Congressman Neugebauer.

Republican Randy Neugebauer faces Democrat Charlie Stenholm and Libertarian Chip Peterson in the November 2nd Elections.
