The Red Raiders lost their final game before the holiday break 72-56 on the road to Oral Roberts. Texas Tech fell behind early, going into halftime behind 37-20, after committing 16 first half turnovers.

It was the Golden Eagles' first win over Texas Tech in school series history.

Turnover problems persisted throughout, as the Red Raiders committed 20 turnovers in all. This was Tech's third road game of the season thus far.
