A former employee of Market Lubbock Inc. is suing the organization. Marjorie Pettway claims Market Lubbock Inc. dismissed her last year because of her age and a disability. It's a claim Market Lubbock denies.

Pettway is accused of embezzling more than $21,000 in taxpayer money from the entity. Last October a Lubbock Grand Jury indicted her on felony theft.
