Search Continues For Suspects In South Plains Counterfeit Ring - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

Authorities on the South Plains are still looking for suspects responsible for a counterfeit ring.

Last month NewsChannel 11 told you about thousands of dollars in fake money that had passed through several Lubbock, Plainview and Amarillo businesses. So far one arrest has been made. However, 25 year old Danny Marquez has since been released on a $5,000 bond.

Authorities tell NewsChannel 11 the counterfeit money has stopped spreading but the Secret Service is still looking for the person or people that produced it.
