The Latest March of Dimes Effort In Lubbock

Use your feet to give premature babies a hand. That was the message today at the United Spirit Arena where the March of Dimes kicked off its Annual Walk America Fundraiser. The March of Dimes is a national agency with thousands of volunteers whose mission is to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects.

"The goal that we're trying to raise this year is $215,000 and the deadline is April 24th which is the day that the walk will take place," explains Walk America Chairman Clay Cash.
