City of Lubbock offices closed Monday, no trash pickup Friday

City of Lubbock offices will be closed Monday, January 2, 2012 in observance of the New Year's holiday. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, January 3rd.

Due to the Christmas holiday, there will be no trash collection on Friday, December 30th. Friday's normally scheduled trash collection will take place Thursday and Thursday's trash collections will take place Wednesday.

For the New Year's holiday, there will be no trash collection on Monday, January 2nd. Monday's normally scheduled trash collection will happen Tuesday and Tuesday's trash collections will take place Wednesday.

The City of Lubbock drop-off Recycling Centers and Citizen Collection Stations at 1631 84th Street and 208 Municipal Drive will be closed on Saturday, December 24th; Monday, December 26th; and Monday, January 2nd.

Emergency services will continue without interruption.
