Lubbock police investigate possible stabbing on New Year's Eve

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) -

While New Year's Eve was fairly calm for Lubbock police, they are investigating a possible stabbing overnight.

Police were called out to 44th and Avenue D around 1:30 Sunday morning.

A fight broke out at a New Year's Eve party.

EMS took one person to UMC with minor injures - the other person was released from police custody pending formal charges.
