Lubbock Woman Recovers After Shooting

A Lubbock woman is now in satisfactory condition after police say her friend shot her in the leg Friday night.

The shooting happened inside a home in the 1500 block of East 25th Street just after 8 p.m. According to a police report, the two women were drinking inside the home before one of them pulled a gun out. Police arrived to find Jacquelyn Dial suffering from a gunshot wound to her lower leg. Heather Thomas was taken into custody.
