Lady Raiders lose heartbreaker in Oklahoma

NORMAN, OK (KCBD) -

The 10th ranked Lady Raiders lost their first game of the year Wednesday, dropping a tough 71-68 contest to Oklahoma in Norman.

Tech led by 7 with 4 minutes left, but the Lady Sooners rallied despite shooting 34 percent.

Christine Hyde led Tech with 21 points. Tech shot 38.7% from the field and hit 9 of 21 from 3 point land

With the loss, the Lady Raiders fall to 14-1 and fail to match their best start ever of 15-0 in 2003-04.

Kristy Curry falls to 0-6 in Norman and is 1-12 against the Lady Sooners

The Lady Raiders host Kansas State Saturday at 2 p.m.
