Bad Tasting Drinking Water Leads to Flooded Streets - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

A bad taste in the drinking water caused flooded streets in Southwest Lubbock Wednesday. Some residents living between 93rd and 98th Streets west of Frankford called the city and complained of a strange odor and taste in their drinking water. City crews flushed hydrants on those streets.

Workers tell us releasing water in the hydrants cleanses the water.
