COLLEGE STATION, TX (KCBD) - The rough start to conference play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders continued Saturday afternoon as they fell to the Aggies from Texas A&M 67-54. The loss keeps Tech winless in league play.
The Red Raiders struggled through foul trouble in the first half as senior big man Robert Lewandowski and freshman forward Jordan Tolbert both had 3 fouls. The lack of depth in the front court allowed the Aggies to dominate inside the paint.
Jaye Crockett led Tech with 19 points. He was one of the Red Raiders to score in double digits. The other was freshman Clark Lammert who came off the bench to score a career high 10 points.
Texas Tech returns to action Tuesday as they continue to play on the road taking on the Oklahoma Sooners.
