Lubbock gets ready to build Fire Station #19 - KCBD NewsChannel 11 Lubbock

The City of Lubbock is laying the groundwork for a new fire station.  The City is asking firms to offer their qualifications to do the engineering and architecture. 

Fire Station #19 will be located at 5826 98th.  Public records say it will serve "the area south of 98th Street between Chicago Avenue and Alcove Avenue to the city limits south of 130th Street." 

Public records also say "This Fire Station was approved in the 2009 Bond Election."
