The Frenship Foundation for Leadership wishes to express its heartfelt appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. George and Linda McMahan for their recent donation of $100,000 to support the mission of the Foundation organization. The Foundation will recognize the McMahan family during Frenship I.S.D.'s monthly School Board meeting on Monday, January 16 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The McMahan family, owners and developers of McMahan Development, Bacon Crest, and Primrose Point land developments, are longtime supporters of Frenship I.S.D.
Mr. McMahan served on the Frenship Foundation for Leadership board from the Foundation's beginning in 2003 until 2009.

The donation from the McMahan family provides the Frenship Foundation additional resources to expand the organization's support roles for the students and faculty of Frenship I.S.D. Plans are in place for the Foundation to begin a teacher grant program initiative for Frenship teachers in support of new and innovative curriculum for students.

Since the inception of the Foundation in 2003, the organization has awarded more than $290,000 in character scholarships to 89 Frenship High School graduates.

Board members of the Frenship Foundation for Leadership will be in attendance at tonight's meeting to show appreciation to the McMahan family for the generous contribution.
