Downed power line sparks Hockley County grass fire

HOCKLEY COUNTY, TX (KCBD) -

The Levelland fire chief says a downed power line near Highway 114 and Santa Fe Road ignited a grass fire Monday afternoon.

He says high winds most likely knocked the line down.

It took a few hours for fire fighters to get the fire under control.
