COTTON COUNTY, OK (KCBD) -

The case of a missing woman from Oklahoma has ties to Lubbock. Amanda McCombs is a Texas Tech student in the class of 2014. Her mother, Teresa Speir, 52, was last seen in Cotton County Oklahoma on January 7.

Speir's car, purse, and cell phone were discovered in her car. The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is helping with the search. Several of McCombs Facebook friends in Lubbock are now using an image of Speir as their profile picture.

The OSBI's day-to-day physical search has stopped. And yet there is still no sign of Speir.

Anyone with information about the case is invited to call the OSBI at 1-800-522-8017.
