It promises to revitalize North Overton, but right now the largest redevelopment project in the nation is causing concern for some residents.
"Children play in the rubble. I go to work very early in the morning and it's still dark and I see rats running through the rubble and the cats won't eat the rats because the rats are bigger than the cats," said Jim Watters, a North Overton resident.
Watters proposes that the council put a moratorium on flattening homes and buildings until the rubble and debris from previously bulldozed homes is cleaned up.
