A Lorenzo man who kept Lubbock and Crosby County authorities at bay for three hours Thursday night has been evaluated and released.
The incident started around 8:30pm when officials responded to the 300 block of Jefferson Street in Lorenzo. Law enforcement tell us they found a man there holding a gun to his head. Officers finally apprehended the man after a three hour standoff. It's believed the man was upset after getting into an argument with his girlfriend.
The incident involved Lorenzo Police, Lubbock Police, the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the Crosby County Sheriff's Office and DPS.
