Right Formula for This Year's Flu

Now, they've figured it out, the right formula to fight this year's flu, that's according to a scientific panel investigating flu strains for the Food and Drug Administration.

Even though this good news comes too late to help the patients who fell to the flu this season. The FDA panel says it hopes the new version will offer better protection when the flu rolls around again next year.

Research shows the 2003 vaccine had a wide range of results, from no protection at all, to a fair amount. Health officials hope this new vaccine will fight more flu strains than ever and be much more effective again the illness next year.
